Reference Books - I suggest you read and study these books if you are interested in learning about, in writing or in illustrating children's picture books (PB). It's best to know all you can about your craft. Illustrators should also study the writing and writers should study about illustrating because they go hand in hand in a picture book. I've included a list of books to start you out on your study path.

You must think of the book layout, format, page layout and overall effectiveness when you are writing and especially illustrating a picture book.
